Commentary

The on-stem personal name with Latinised ending, formed from the base lūtu- 'vigour', is also attested at nearby find places as lutu and maybe lutou; cf. also CIL V 5340 lutonis (Como), XIII 5323 lutonis. See Tibiletti Bruno 1979: 263, 1981: 169.
