Originally read ericofios (Catalogo Museo Da Vinci 1959: 21). Discussion of the letter shapes in Tibiletti Bruno 1965b: 562–564. As observed by Morandi 1999: 185 f., the ductus is almost cursive; the inscription seems to be written before firing.
