Inscribed on the shoulder of the vessel | Inscribed on the shoulder of the vessel between the lines of two decorative circles (length 2.8 cm). Mu appears with only three bars, which is irregular in the Lepontic alphabet, and the bars are very short, but no other reading is feasible. The sequence {{w||śium}} should be expected to be an abbreviation of a personal name, but no comparanda are available in Gaulish onomastics (see the word page). | ||
