Commentary

Presentation with photography, drawing, and linguistic study of a graffito from Gropello Cairoli (PV·4). Tibiletti Bruno's hypothesis is that the "pitchfork" variant of chi χ is the spelling variant for the first stage of a spirantisation; the author further states the hypothesis that Lepontic-Ligurian onomastics, in opposition to Gaulish onomastics, is characterised by the absence of compounds.
