Mees 2020: 181 f. identifies the sequence as an Etruscan individual name koii̯e borrowed from Celtic *koi̯i̯os (RIG M-112 coios, M-111 κοιιοϲ, Delestrée & Meziane 2016 coiios (or coeos?), CIL XII 2202 coius etc.; Delamarre 2007: 217 et passim), with the cluster i̯i̯ spelled "hypercorrect" with three iotas.
