Commentary
Possibly an abbreviation of a personal name, but nothing can be compared with the beginning of the inscription missing. Final -an could theoretically be the ā-stem accusative singular ending -ān, but the fact that accusatives otherwise only occur in the more complex Cisalpine Celtic texts makes this unlikely (cf. Tibiletti Bruno 1984: 122).
