Casini and Motta suggest that the fragmentary form is a Celtic personal name in the genitive -ī. The sequence st, however, would be unexpected in a Celtic form – see priś for a discussion of the Gaulish name bristā which features archaic (?) st, but would not come with a case ending -i.
