Commentary
Images in Frontini 1985: tav. 9.2, De Marinis & Motta 2007: 154, fig. 1.2 (drawing).
Black-glazed bowl (type Lamboglia 28 / Morel 2685), received in June 1975 by Piero Lucini, the collector of the archaeological remains from the Cascina Riccio necropolis in Gottolengo, from a person who claimed to have found it in Bagnolo Mella. In a letter to Soprintendente Mario Mirabella Roberti, Lucini expressed the suspicion that the object must come from Gottolengo, conceivably due to the similarity of the inscription with the one on BS·9 Gottolengo (see De Marinis & Motta 2007: 137). The object/inscription was published as coming from Bagnolo Mella by Frontini 1985: 68, no. 1 and Solinas 1995, but filed sub Gottolengo by Morandi 2004 ("probabilmente dalla necropoli, in circostanze imprecisate"). Dating from Frontini and De Marinis & Motta 2007: 137.
