The fiasca a trottola (type 3.2) comes from grave 143 of the Giubiasco necropolis, excavated by Domenico Pini under supervision, though the integrity of the grave complex is not entirely certain: the grave as a whole can be dated to LT B2–C1; the bottle is the only object dated to LT D and probably does not belong in this inventory (Tori et al. 2010: 280 f.; the grave complex is described in Tori et al. 2004: 175 f.). The dating follows Tori et al. 2010; De Marinis & Biaggio Simona 2000: 461, no. 529 give the 2nd–1st century BC.
