Commentary
Lexical bou̯d-i- 'victory, gain' is well attested as an onomastic element in Gaulish, usually in simplex names or as first element in compound names – an exception eniboudius (also enaboudia) is mentioned in GPN: 158 with n. 2. Attested only once in the Cisalpine area so far, in a compound name which belongs to the Ambi-Danubian rather than the Cisalpine Celtic sphere.
