Reading uncertain in BG·12.
Possibly an abbreviation of a name. See NM·20 for the interpretation as an abbreviation of the ethnonym uolces (base u̯olk-). Otherwise, a personal name in u̯olt- 'hair' (DLG: 327) or u̯olo- is possible (see Delamarre 2007: 237).
