Roughly rhomboid flattish piece of bronze of 115.6 g; smooth sides, only the upper left one is chipped (ancient according to De Marinis). On the uninscribed surface, traces of rasping and two indentations (3–4 mm). The piece appears to be complete ({{bib|Prosdocimi 1986d}}). Dating from {{bib|De Marinis 1985}}: 203, who interprets the object as a bronze weight (a quarter of a Near-Eastern/Etruscan mina); it is identified as a piece of aes rude by {{bib|Colonna 1986}}: 62 f. (thus also {{bib|De Marinis 2005}}: 73).

Commentary

Images in De Marinis 1983b: 33, fig. 18 (drawing = De Marinis 1985: 203 = De Marinis 2005: 68, fig. 23.3), De Marinis 1985: tav. XXVII, 3 (photo), De Marinis 2005: 69, fig. 24 (photos).

Roughly rhomboid flattish piece of bronze of 115.6 g; smooth sides, only the upper left one is chipped (ancient according to De Marinis). On the uninscribed surface, traces of rasping and two indentations (3–4 mm). The piece appears to be complete (Prosdocimi 1986d). Found during the first prospections of the Forcello site, see De Marinis 1982b, De Marinis 1983b and De Marinis 1985: 196–199. Dating from De Marinis 1985: 203, who interprets the object as a bronze weight (a quarter of a Near-Eastern/Etruscan mina); it is identified as a piece of aes rude by Colonna 1986: 62 f. (thus also De Marinis 2005: 73), but as aes formatum by Bertol Stipetić 2022: 29.
