Since the bar of the second letter is shorter than the straight hasta, lambda seems the better choice; sigma may have featured a fourth bar and been considerably taller than preserved. For the letter by the breaking edge, both alpha and epsilon seem possible (also kappa, if the second letter should be upsilon after all). The distance between sigma and lambda is rather large, and it cannot be excluded that a damaged dot-shaped mark between the letter is an intentional punct (of unclear function). | |||
