Garovaglio's drawing shows two characters: three lines forming a chi-like shape on the bottom above the foot, and on the foot an epsilon with straight bars. Probably not alphabetic.
The epsilon-like character is inscribed on the foot of the vessel, and incomplete; {{bib|Tibiletti Bruno 1969b}}: 211 f., no. 35 reads ''e'' with straight bars, but probably not alphabetic. The second character in Garovaglio's drawing, on the bottom above the foot, is a mark, see the object page.

Image in Barelli 1879/Garovaglio 1879: tav. II.e (drawing = Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 286, tav. XIV.35).

The epsilon-like character is inscribed on the foot of the vessel, and incomplete; Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 211 f., no. 35 reads e with straight bars, but probably not alphabetic. The second character in Garovaglio's drawing, on the bottom above the foot, is a mark, see the object page.
