Commentary

Image in Barelli 1879/Garovaglio 1879: tav. II.e (drawing = Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 286, tav. XIV.35).

Fragment of the foot and bottom of a ceramic vessel (Garovaglio 1879: 19 e), found at Rondineto in unspecified context, probably a tomb (see Barelli 1879: 15–17). The Ψ s-shaped mark on the bottom is also found on other potsherds from Rondineto, see e.g. Garovaglio 1879: tav. II.m, n. Generic dating to G III A above is given in accordance with the overall dating of the Rondineto graffiti (De Marinis & Motta 1991: 214).
