Black-varnished cup of reddish clay imit. type Lamboglia 28 (Morandi), found in the fifth grave at the Villa del Soldo, which was excavated by Castelfranco. It contained eight ceramic vessels, an iron knife, and assorted fragments (detailed description in Castelfranco 1879: 7–11, the cup on p. 10 G). The grave was reconstructed on site, but Rhŷs 1913: 39 f. failed to see the vessel during his visit to the Soldo in 1912, and was informed by Count Turati that it had been removed to a different residence; according to a letter from the count to Whatmough (PID: 98) in 1929, it was then kept in the Turati residence in via Conservatore in Milano. Filed as untraceable by Solinas and Morandi. Dating to LT D 2 from Morandi, confirmed by a specimen of NM·5 found in one of the four destroyed graves (Castelfranco 1879: 15).
