Commentary
The form CIPODI, which Rhŷs (Rhŷs 1913: 56) cites and to which Tibiletti Bruno (Tibiletti Bruno 1981: 173) also refers, is a chimera: in CIL V, 8934 (Suno, NO), the inscription reads:
E[3]III / siici[1]d di / riis[3]i / [
Schürr (Schürr 2007: 343) suggests mistake for *Ciponis, gen. of *Cipo (analogous to the error postulated for Saśadis)
