The reading kas is suggested by Morandi based on the drawing in Simone. Kappa and alpha seem clear; the third letter looks like three-stroke sigma, but cf. VA·7 and VA·8 from the same necropolis with four- and five-stroke sigma. Assuming that the reading is correct, the sequence may be an abbreviation of a personal name (see the word page). In same grave was found VA·11.
