Inscribed on the foot of the beaker obliquely below TI·48.1. De Marinis & Biaggio Simona read sem, cf. Morandi, Pernet et al. 2006: 230. Sigma and epsilon are clear, what follows could be Latin nu as well as (Crivelli). Latin mu is suggested by an additional short scratch extending from the top of the second hasta of , but this is hardly another hasta. The sequence may be an abbreviation of a personal name (see the word page); the relation of the inscription to the other one on the foot is unclear.
