Commentary

Rough slab of grey mica schist found in 1900 by the worker Pietro Barizzi while digging up sand on the property of one Giuseppe Colombo, at a depth of 3.5 m. The slab covered a pit, probably a grave, devoid of furniture; an complete incineration grave with stone chamber and furniture, datable to G III A according to De Marinis & Motta 1991: 204, was found a few metres from the one covered by the stone in the same year (Giussani 1902: 25 f.). The dating of the stela depends on that of TI·34.3; see the inscription pages for palaeographical and typological datings of the inscriptions and their frames.

Formerly in the Museo Storico in Lugano, currently untraceable.
