Commentary

Images in Garovaglio 1877: tav. III.33 (drawing), Oberziner 1883: tav. XIX.13 (drawing copied from Garovaglio), Pauli 1885: Taf. I.18d (drawing from Poggi), Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 283, tav. XI.23 (photo), Solinas 1995: 350 (drawing).

Inscribed on the inside of the bowl below the rim. Originally read ]tiu[ (Poggi 1879: 311, no. 45, Pauli 1885: 9 f., no. 18 d, Giussani 1902: 45, Rhŷs 1913: 38, III.1.1d (or ]uit[), Rhŷs 1914: 8, Whatmough PID: 100, no. 288); more plausible a reading of the second letter as rho as per Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 202 f., no. 23, who reads tṛị[ (also Morandi, but only a short section of a hasta is left of the third letter, cf. Solinas 1995: 349 f., no. 79 tr?[) or tạ[ (like Oberziner 1883: 145, but unlikely).
