Commentary

Images in Barelli 1877/Garovaglio 1877: tav. III.33 (drawing), Oberziner 1883: tav. XIX.13 (drawing copied from Garovaglio), Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 283, tav. XI.23 (photo).

Fragment of a ceramic patera (part of the bottom and rim) (Garovaglio 1877: 36, no. 33), found at Rondineto in unspecified circumstances (Barelli 1877: 4; in the "sepolcreto" according to Poggi 1879: 311, also Morandi "da tomba", but Barelli 1877: 13 only mentions two graffiti from the tomb, which are CO·3 Rondineto and CO·4 Rondineto). Generic dating to G III A above is given in accordance with the overall dating of the Rondineto graffiti (De Marinis & Motta 1991: 214). Reported untraceable by Rhŷs 1914: 8, but resurfaced by the time of TB's visit.
