Description: Direction (in degrees) of the baseline of an inscription in relation to its object.
Type: Number


Concerning this property the object is always seen from the side, and the given value defines the deviation of the inscription's top from the object's top (counterclockwise). The "top" of flat rotation-symmetric objects (like ceramic plates or bowls) is the center of the top surface. The direction of coin legends is noted in relation to its picture. Not to be confused with the direction of writing. Examples:
