remu is an on-stem personal name from the base rēm- (cf. Rhŷs 1913: 29, Lejeune 1971: 64, n. 217, Delamarre 2007: 152). Cf. RIG M-232 remo (coin legend), CIL XII 2416 remullae [dat., Aoste], and o-stem RIIG EUR-01-01 (RIG L-16) remi (gen., Vieil-Évreux), RIG M-56 remos (coin legend).
