Commentary
Image in Tibiletti Bruno 1977b: 107 (photo).
Pyxis ("vaso a rocchetto"), complete exept for two (reconstructed) sections of the rim and wall. Filed as coming from Rondineto ("[d]a vecchi scavi") by Tibiletti Bruno 1977b: 107), but Morandi reports that it was given to the museum in 1892 and that, according to the museum's records, the find place is Galliano in Cantù – Morandi notes that Galliano is a fraction of Eupilio, but the name probably refers to the area of the basilica San Vincenzo. Dating from Morandi. Cf. VA·2 Cantello, TI·48 Giubiasco.
