Commentary
Stela of unknown size and shape, but in complete or near-complete state judging by the drawings of the inscription (see TI·39), unearthed in 1850 and transported by the engineer Giuseppe Re from Pavia (presumably the finder) to his house in Sonvico (Monti 1860: 59), where it appears to have been intentionally destroyed before 1902 (Giussani 1902: 35; confirmed from a different source by Rhŷs 1913: 20).
