Commentary
The attested form is too fragmentary to be amenable to an etymological analysis. Tibiletti Bruno 1984: 123 suggests an abbreviation of a personal name; cf uenu, uenia, uerkou, uerkalai, uer, ueca, ueconis, uesa?a(...)ai.
