Red-varnished bowl with inward-bent rim, restored from three fragments; on the inside near the rim two impressed cross-shaped marks and a pair of horses (cf. CO·73 Civiglio; Bertolone 1957: 59, Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 235, no. 78). Found in autumn of 1930 in one of two graves excavated in the Cava Butti, a site of the Ca' Morta necropolis, together with assorted ceramic grave furniture and an iron knife blade (see Baserga 1931: 55 f. with a description of the grave). Dating according to Solinas (mid-Golasecca II, with a typo "IV" for "VI") following De Marinis & Premoli Silva 1968-9: 160, no. 8.
