Commentary

Unpainted pyxis at the Archaeological Museum in Bergamo, according to the records from the Cantacucco property. De Marinis notes that this seems suspicious infofar as Cantacucco is the site of a Langobardian necropolis from which no La Tène finds are otherwise known, but points out that Cantacucco is the same distance from Caravaggio as the Campo de Croppe, the unidentified find place of a late La Tène grave containing BG·40. The late La Tène necropolis of Brolo is about a kilometre away. Dating from De Marinis p. 136.
