Commentary
Reading uncertain, see the inscription page.
If correct, probably an ā-stem personal name. Short names with a first element kom(m)- are known in Transalpine Gaul, cf. RIG M-113 coma, commos, commus, como, comio, com(m)ios, commius (Delamarre 2007: 70, Tibiletti Bruno 1978: 143). The etymology of the names is uncertain (see GPN: 335 f.), possibly hypocoristics from names with the preverb kom-. Cf. komoneos.
