Inscribed in a single line within a frame running from bottom to top (length ca. 117 cm); the frame is simply rounded on top and closed at the bottom. The damaged inscription was only detected (by Riccardo Carazzetti) during the stela's restauration in the late 1990s. It is applied on one of the stela's larger faces, indicating that it predates the better-preserved [[TI·27.1]], which is written on one of the narrow sides, though it is not clear why TI·27.2 is situated to the left of the surface rather than in the middle – possibly a second inscription, felt to be more important, was intended to be placed in the centre at a later date, but never executed? {{bib|Morandi 2004}} assumes TI·27.2 to be secondary to and a rough imitation of [[TI·27.1]] and thus dates it to the 3<sup>rd</sup> c. Inscribed in a single line within a frame running from bottom to top (length ca. 117 cm); the frame is simply rounded on top and closed at the bottom.
