The form is interpreted as a dithematic personal name in the genitive by Maras 2023: 132 ("bianco o luminoso desiderio"); also possible (suggested, but rejected by Maras ibid.) is a monothematic name derived with the suffix -ī̆n- – arguably -īn- as in poininos, if used secondarily as e.g. in Lat. pecuīnus (Stefan Höfler p.c.).
