Commentary
Short ā-stem personal name; probably hypocoristic. Cf. the names in uis- in Delamarre 2007: 202; the base (or first element of the compound name on which the hypocoristic is based) is best identified as u̯īsu- 'good', though, considering the late date of the document, u̯iđu/o- 'known' with the tau gallicum cluster simplified to /ss/ cannot be exluded (cf. Molinari 1974: 72 f.).
