Commentary
See the inscription page on the reading.
If read correctly, the sequence is a patronym in -(i)i̯- formed from a personal name koi̯los or koi̯l(i)i̯os, conceivably from the base koi̯l- 'meagre', though it is not well attested in onomastics; cf. maybe Latinised coelus at La Graufesenque (OCK: X) and CIL I 2398 coili (Hispania Baetica) (DLG: 121). Cf. Cresci Marrone & Solinas 2013: 29, who alternatively suggest as connection with MW coel 'portent' etc., OBret. coel gl. haruspicem, etc., but these forms go back to PC *kai̯lo- (Matasović 2009: 197 f.).
